If you are interested in residential real estate, click on “Residential.” This section presents information of most interest to you. In this section is the property search, a database of RE/MAX agents, loan information, a mortgage calculator, and general information about buying and selling homes.

If you are interested in commercial real estate click on “Commercial.” This section contains the commercial property search, the commercial agent database, and information about commercial markets.

If you are interested in information about the company, such as its history, or how to join, then “Inside RE/MAX” is for you! This section contains press releases, officer biographies, and information about becoming a RE/MAX agent or purchasing a RE/MAX franchise.

Q - How do I find a RE/MAX agent?
A – The Agent search is in the “Residential” section of remax.com under the Find an Agent or Find an Office navigation.

Q - What are the designations I see on the agent profiles?
A – Agents earn educational certificates for various specialties and market segments. Read descriptions of the designations.

Q - Do RE/MAX agents handle rental properties?
A - While most RE/MAX associates serve homebuyers and home sellers, some of our agents do handle rentals. To find such an agent in your area click on "Find an Agent/Office". Set up a search on your city and state or province, and select "Rentals" from the "Areas of Specialization" pull-down menu under the "View Additional Search Options" link.

Q - How do I find a RE/MAX office?
A - The Office search is in the “Residential” section of remax.com. Click here for in-depth description of the Agent/Office search.

Q - How do I find a property?
A - The property search is in the “Residential” section of remax.com. To search for a home in any RE/MAX Region in the United fill out the quick form in the Buy/Sell a Home section. This search will take you to a results page on our partner web site, realtor.com. There are additional instructions on realtor.com.

If you are in a country other than the United States, choose your country from the pull-down menu on the remax.com home page or on the “Residential” page. Clicking on your country will open a new window to the RE/MAX web site of the selected country. The search instructions vary by country. Follow that site's instructions to select the property that matches your desired specifications.

Q – My property search brings up lots of properties, but none of them match my criteria.
A – The property search tries to match your criteria exactly. Sometimes not everything you are looking for is available in one home. So, the software tries to make the closest matches it can. It then presents the homes in order of applicability to your search criteria. If a home matches perfectly, it will be noted as a 100% match. If it only matches on ¾ of criteria, it is noted as a 75% match. Matches and percentages are noted on down the line. If none of the items returned are satisfactory, you may wish to contact a RE/MAX agent as they have access to a wider range of homes and have market information that can be more helpful than what is often found on the web.
